Hi people, you'll never guess where I was a few days ago. I was searching my roots with my bro and dad all the way in Arizona. It was sorta fun but it was a lot of traveling. I'm one fourth Quechan(pronounced Kuh-shawn), part Walapai, and part Tohono O'odham (originaly Papago). So we tried to get some registration forms, but they said they'd check and get back to us. It's better than nothing, at least.
So we went to the Quechan reservation, even though most of our original land was now used for the military. We also went to the Tohono O'odham reservation, close to the border, it was kinda scary. The museum though was really cool and I learned a bit more about my heritage. What really depresses me though, is that according to the museum's info 60 t0 70% of the Tohono O'odham have risk of getting diabetes. it explains so much about me but... According to the museum the Tohono's bodies still haven't adjusted to the white man food so obesity is common. ....
I nearly shouted \"NOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo~!!!!!!\" in front of the info thingy.
But!but, but, but!
When we were going to the museum we stopped in the town, Sells, to ask for directions and I saw the coolest thing....
CACTUS SYRUP~!!!!

When we were about to leave the museum I asked them how cactus syrup tasted and the women at the desk said that it's the best syrup in the world! I was so hyped up I asked dad if we could go buy some, then they said the only store that sold it was closed. ):
Then she told me to write down my address so she could send me some!!! She was so nice!
With that set we set out back to Yuma(next to the Quechan reservation) ahead of schedule.
Then, right after Ajo(We kept pronouncing it as "A hoe"), the car slowed down then stopped. I got a car to pull over to us.

Frost: Fine,but I'm making it quick. So she had to wait in the dark for an hour until a tow truck came to pick her up and take them to a junction called Gila Bend. It really was in the middle of no where and they had to stay in the Best Western called "The Space Age Lodge."
they had to stay there an extra day for them to finish fixing it.
She got so homesick she made her dad drive for 13 hours with only two stops. Slave Driver.
Me: Hey, I had to stay up with him.
Frost: what ever. Well that's the story.
Me: Yep! Kinda short but oh well.
